08/08/2006 - TeamFanShop, Inc. to Power Official Online Store for Georgia Bulldogs

TeamFanShop, a division of Football Fanatics, announced today it has entered into an agreement to operate the official online store for the University of Georgia’s athletic department.

The Georgia Bulldogs are joined by several other division I and professional teams who have recently selected TeamFanShop to power their official online stores including the Florida Gators, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the Minnesota Timberwolves.

Under the terms of the agreement, TeamFanShop will be responsible for all facets of store operation including web site development, merchandising, customer service, order processing, and product fulfillment. Terms were not disclosed.

"After reviewing all of our options, we were impressed by the best of breed capabilities that TeamFanShop has developed," said Alan Thomas, Associate Athletic Director for External Affairs. "Because TeamFanShop is solely dedicated to selling officially licensed products online, they're able to devote a level of resources to our program that we would not be able to justify on our own. I'm confident that the experience our fans receive while shopping our new official online store will be consistent with the quality they associate with the University of Georgia."
