II.        Primary Purpose

We are seeking a highly qualified individual to join our team as the Site Optimization Manager. This individual will be responsible for developing the corporate testing portfolio to maximize ROI and improve the online customer experience.  The site optimization manager will identify testing opportunities, define and execute A/B and multivariate tests, analyze results, and recommend site enhancements or follow up testing based on findings.

III.       Principal Duties and Responsibilities

  • Conduct performance analysis using various data sources (web analytics, UX best practice, voice of customer, competitive analysis, site audits, etc.) to identify high value testing opportunities and hypotheses
  • Clearly articulate and document test hypotheses, success metrics and testing requirements
  • Own end-to-end testing execution in collaboration with other members of internal business groups where appropriate and drive long term single and multi-step testing strategies
  • Analyze segmented test results and make data driven recommendations that result in fundamental site experience improvements
  • Communicate testing roadmaps and results to management team

IV.        Education & Experience Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of web analytics experience using Omniture, CoreMetrics or Google Analytics
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in website optimization using A/B and multivariate testing providers such as Test and Target, SiteSpect, etc.
  • Strong quantitative/analytical skills
  • Proficiency in Excel
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, statistics, mathematics, economics or a related field (MBA preferred)
  • Some background in website usability
  • Experience with personalization, behavioral targeting and segmentation is a plus
