I.         Primary Purpose

Fanatics is looking for a bright, motivated candidate to join their team and assist the Social Manager. The Social Marketing Assistant will aid in strategizing and reporting on social media campaigns related to sports and official team merchandise. The ideal candidate will 1) be driven to achieve excellence, 2) have an above average knowledge of Facebook, Twitter and other social media platforms, 3) have a high level of interest and knowledge in both collegiate and professional sports and 4) have excellent research and analytical skills.

II.         Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and report on multiple Facebook, Twitter and other social marketing campaigns
• Analyze existing Facebook and Twitter strategies and make suggestions for improving quality and broadening opportunities
• Research and execute new ideas and opportunities as determined by the manager
• Research, create and report on contests and sweepstakes for the Facebook and Twitter platforms
• Utilize creativity and sports knowledge to assist in developing new social marketing strategies for increasing fans and followers
• Advertise social media pages and accounts across multiple channels to increase fans and followers while maintaining appropriate cost levels
• Utilize business acumen to assist with developing and implementing social advertising campaigns to monetize social media connections
• Research competitors social marketing strategies
• Research optimization techniques of leaders in the social marketing space

III.        Education & Experience Requirements

• 4 Year Degree - Marketing, Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Other
• Above average knowledge of social networking industry and various social media platforms
• Above average knowledge and interest in collegiate and professional sports
• Excellent research and analytical skills
• Attention to detail
• Ability to change focus easily and multitask
• Desire to embark on an exciting career path while gaining valuable experience and knowledge in a fun, relaxed atmosphere
